This Privacy Policy explains how Love Chat, operated by IT7 SRL (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our app and related services. 2. Information We Collect

We collect and store only the minimal information necessary for the operation of the app:

  • Nickname
  • Orientation (as provided by the user)
  • Gender
  • Avatar (profile image)

Messages and images exchanged between users are also stored temporarily to enable chat functionality.

No information is collected that directly identifies you in the real world, such as your full name, address, phone number, or government ID.

3. Message and Content Storage

  • Chat messages and images are stored on Google-provided cloud services located in the European Union (EU).
  • Messages and media remain stored until you delete your account, after which they are permanently erased from our systems.
  • Once an account is deleted, all associated user data—including messages, profile information, and media—are irreversibly deleted.

4. Encryption and Security

We use industry-standard encryption technologies, including SSL (Secure Socket Layer), to protect your data while it is transmitted between your device and our servers.

We continuously monitor our systems to ensure a high level of security and to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of your data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • All user data (profile and chat content) is retained only for as long as the account remains active.
  • Users can delete their account and all associated data directly within the app using the provided “Delete Account” function.
  • Once deleted, all data is permanently removed from our servers without the possibility of recovery.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

However, Love Chat integrates Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to help us understand how users interact with the app.

  • The data shared with Firebase is not connected to any real-world identity and includes only anonymized or pseudonymized usage information (e.g., general device and app usage metrics).
  • No chat messages, profile information, or identifying content are shared with Firebase.

7. Servers and Jurisdiction

  • All servers and data storage systems are located in the European Union (EU).
  • Your data is therefore protected under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted within the app, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
